Campus Game Fest Levels Up: A Fusion of Gaming, Tech & Culture


SINGAPORE, [4 September]
– Campus Game Fest (CGF), Singapore’s premier festival celebrating gaming, technology, and youth culture, returns bigger than ever this year — at Suntec Convention Centre, Level 4, from 30 October to 2 November 2025, in collaboration with The Tech Show 2025 by the Comex IT Group.

Supported by the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), CGF 2025 promises four electrifying days of esports tournaments, interactive activities, career discovery experiences, and vibrant local community showcases — drawing gamers, creators, families, and tech enthusiasts from across Southeast Asia.

SG60 Original Comic Art Exhibition: Celebrating 60 Years of Creative Excellence

In celebration of Singapore’s 60th birthday and as part of the SG60 Culture Pass, CGF 2025 will debut the SG60 Original Comic Art Exhibition — organised by TCZ Studios with the Singapore Comic Society. The SG Culture Pass, launching in September 2025, will give all Singaporeans aged 18 and above $100 in credits to enjoy arts, heritage, and cultural experiences like this.

The exhibition will showcase 60 iconic comic artworks from renowned Singaporean artists including Wee Tian Beng, Yeo Hui Xuan, Clio Hui Nam Sam, Sean Lam, JDC Amane, Rixou Lou and Jerry Hinds. Visitors can also enjoy daily live mural sessions, where artists co-create an SG60 Congratulatory Mural while sharing personal stories from their creative journeys.

Step into immersive worlds with gaming and trading card competitions, interactive demos, exclusive merchandise, and themed photo spots.

Campus Legends Southeast Asia

Elite collegiate teams from across the region face off in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and Street Fighter 6.

Campus Legends Secondary School

Organised by SCOGA and the Esports Academy and co-organised by Defence Collective Singapore, students will compete in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and Guardians of the City II, bringing Total Defence principles into esports.

Silver Showdown

Organised by SCOGA, Esports Academy, and BlueDot SG, the inaugural Silver Showdown is the first senior gaming tournament that features Esports and Exergaming.

Workforce Singapore Career Zone & Fireside Chat

In partnership with Workforce Singapore, CGF will host a career-themed Fireside Chatwith industry leaders including Marcus from Moonton and Cheryl Yao (renowned MLBB host).

Campus Game Fest (CGF) 2024 Thrills Singapore with Exceptional Turnout and Diverse Community-led Competitions

 

SINGAPORE, 06 November 2024 – Campus Game Fest (CGF) 2024 returned with unparalleled excitement this year, delivering a thrilling lineup of community-driven, student-led events that captivated over 4000 attendees across Singapore. Held at ITE College Central from October 26–27, 2024, this year’s CGF brought together gaming enthusiasts, cosplayers and aspiring esports stars, establishing itself as the premier gathering for fans in Singapore.

The CGF 2024 offered a dynamic platform featuring competitions and showcases that underscored the importance of esports and gaming education. By collaborating with educational institutions and community groups, the event helped foster a sustainable gaming ecosystem that empowers students, provides hands-on learning experiences, and nurtures emerging talent across gaming, arts, media and edutainment.

The Asia Pacific Predator League Singapore Qualifier proved to be a key highlight, with intense competition that led to a nail-biting finale. The league was just one of many draws, as the festival also hosted an unprecedented cosplay showcase with over 300 cosplayers embodying fan-favourite characters from iconic anime series and movies, bringing a vibrant atmosphere to the CGF.

The two-day fest featured various Trading Card Game (TCG) tournaments under the TCG Challengers Series, featuring Magic: The Gathering, One Piece and Grand Archive. Among these, the One Piece Flagship Battle EX tournament drew an especially strong turnout, selling out on both days with over 500 players participating. These TCG competitions offered an accessible environment for fans of all levels to compete and connect, making CGF a welcoming space for gaming enthusiasts to gather and celebrate their shared passion.

This year’s tournament expanded beyond Singapore, featuring competitors from across Southeast Asia. In partnership with Level Infinite and Clash On Air, CGF hosted the region’s first Honor of Kings Community Day, a groundbreaking opportunity for fans across Southeast Asia to celebrate the game in a live setting. This expansion builds on CGF’s commitment to talent discovery, community building and fostering regional connections in esports.

Campus Game Fest (CGF) 2024 – Singapore’s Ultimate Gaming Showdown Returns!


SINGAPORE, 3 October 2024 – After a five-year hiatus, Campus Game Fest (CGF) 2024 returns bigger and better, re-establishing itself as Singapore’s premier community gaming festival in Southeast Asia. From 26-27 October 2024, 10 AM to 9 PM, CGF will take over ITE College Central, offering two days of non-stop excitement for gaming enthusiasts and creatives alike.

The Campus Game Fest, along with its associated events, aims to highlight the importance of esports education, with a focus on regional expansion and national recognition. In collaboration with various educational institutions and community associations, these initiatives help build a sustainable esports ecosystem that nurtures students' interests, unlocks their talent and provides access to educational opportunities.

With esports rapidly growing in the ASEAN region, Campus Game Fest serves as a key platform for regional talent to shine. The Asia Pacific Predator League will feature the Singapore Qualifier with a S$10,000 prize pool, while the b: Southeast Asia’s best collegiate teams, represent their college and their country, compete for the highest honor and glory in Street Fighter 6 and Mobile Legends.

The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament will also see champions from six Southeast Asian nations competing for national pride. As a highlight, Tencent will host a live watch party for the Honor of Kings Community Day, uniting fans for a unique viewing experience at CGF.

Highlights For the Event:

Asia Pacific Predator League: Top VALORANT teams battle for a shot at a USD 400,000 prize pool and a chance to represent Singapore at the Grand Finals in Kuala Lumpur.

Campus Legends Invitational: Southeast Asia’s best collegiate teams compete in Street Fighter 6 and Mobile Legends.

Honor of Kings & MLBB Tournaments: Compete in Honor of Kings, MLBB, and Magic Chess for cash prizes and in-game rewards.

Creators' Alley Mini: Unleash your creativity with fan art contests and creator showcases, sponsored by Razer Gold.

Mata-verse: Inspired by the popular Roblox platform, this interactive showcase, developed in partnership with the Singapore Police Force, lets participants experience life as a Singapore Police Officer. The exhibit focuses on scam prevention and digital safety, educating the public on how to identify and avoid common online scams.

CGF will feature SUPERCATKEI - a leading figure and mentor in live streaming and content creation - as the headliner. She will host a series of creator-based programs, including fireside chats and a live game show featuring six content creators in the main stage.

Other activities at the event under the TCG Challengers Series feature the Magic the Gathering APAC League, One Piece TCG (Flagship Battle X) and Grand Archive tournaments.
